A Reiki session is a very personal experience, and will be different for each individual. Reiki Practitioners use a variety of techniques and may incorporate different tools or methods into sessions to best assist the Seeker/Client.

I am trained and certified as a Master in Usui Reiki, which is the original Japanese form of Reiki Healing, named for Master Mikao Usui, who originally received these methods from the Ascended Masters after a life of Spiritual Devotion.

Reiki is a 'hands-on' meditation technique, however, there are modifications for Seekers  uncomfortable with physical touch.

All living beings are complex 'energy systems', which is a concept proven by modern science. When we have a lack, or dysfunction of our energy systems, we are not as healthy as we should be. Reiki uses the abundant and endless supply of Universal Life Energy to replenish or repair a faulty or weak energy system.

Following a brief discussion and well being assessment, Seekers lie in a comfortable position in a peaceful environment, always completely clothed. Seekers are treated with respect and your session will last approximately one hour. Specific hand positions are used on the Seekers body to help facilitate relaxation and to encourage healing.

Each Seeker will have a different experience during their session. Some describe the sensation as floating on air or water, others state they feel as if there were outside of their physical body. Many state they have clear thoughts and become very relaxed during the session. Some see memories of the past, or visions of the future. Many Seekers will feel warm or cold sensations in various parts of their body. Still others simply drift off into a peaceful rest.

Following the session, time will be allowed to discuss the Seeker's experience. It is suggested that you drink plenty of clean water both before and after your session. You may feel tired, and you should listen to your body and rest as much as needed in the period following your session.

Experiencing Reiki allows you to build self-awareness and helps to awaken your consciousness. This will help you identify areas in your life that may need to be addressed in order to regain health.

Reiki is appropriate for everyone and can even be performed on animals. Reiki is not a religion, and the Precepts of Reiki are in alignment with all religions of the world. Hands-on healing is widely discussed in the Bible and in all other Religious Sacred Texts.

A strong focus is placed on self-examination and reflection, utilizing positive thought and hopeful energy to enact change. Seekers/Clients will learn how to use their intuition to make better choices in their lives, and to escape feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, and suffering. Special sessions for women living with or recovering from domestic violence will help rediscover their inner self-esteem, rebuild their inner strength, and empower them to regain their lives and move forward. Safety plans and tools are integrated into the sessions as needed. Those questioning their Spiritual Path will be encouraged to explore the core issues causing their confusion, enabling them to move confidently into their enlightened future. Relaxation tools are taught to help each Seeker/Client manifest a more peaceful, hopeful, and grateful life. Each Seeker/Client is individually assessed to determine the best course of Development, and social exploration skills or group discussion may be suggested. Special circumstances may warrant home environment evaluation or interventional development sessions.
